Restaurant Revitalization Fund Now Accepting Applications
Established by the American Rescue Plan, the Restaurant Revitalization Fund will help provide grants up to $5 million per location and up to $10 million per applicant to restaurants, bars, and other eligible businesses to help keep their doors open. Applications are now being accepted - click here to access the portal. Funds can be used for expenses including mortgage and rent payments, payroll, utility payments, and food and beverage costs. Get Vaccinated This Thursday at the Milpitas Sports Center (Age 16+)
In partnership with Santa Clara County, Recreation and Community Services is hosting another County Vaccination site in Milpitas on Thursday, May 6 at the Milpitas Sports Center (1325 E. Calaveras Blvd.) from 1pm-8pm while supplies last. The clinic is walk up and can accommodate 500 people! This is a 2-dose vaccine (Pfizer) and so a second dose appointment will be made for those that get vaccinated while they are onsite at the clinic. Limited Johnson & Johnson vaccines will be available as well.
On April 21, President Biden announced a paid leave tax credit legislation that would "offset the cost for employers with fewer than 500 employees to provide full pay for any time their employees need to get a COVID-19 vaccination or recover from that vaccination."
