Sports Medicine Physician Dr. Josh Hackel recently conducted an investigational pilot study using RegenaLase Laser Therapy on a small group of patients with knee osteoarthritis (OA). The goal of this minimally invasive treatment is to stimulate chondrocytes to fill cartilage defects with hyaline-like tissue, thereby improving quality of life by reducing pain and increasing mobility. A larger study is currently in development and planned for later this winter. Additional details will be provided in our e-news and on our social media platforms when the study opens.
Plantar Fibromatosis Treatment Study Participants Needed
This study is aiming to evaluate different injection treatments to treat plantar fibromatosis. To be included in this study, patients must reside in the state of Florida, be clinically diagnosed with 1 plantar fibroma, and be available to attend 5 in-person visits to the Andrews Institute in Gulf Breeze, FL.
