San Vicente Golf Resort

On Sunday, May 3rd we held our Chapter play day at San Vicente Golf Resort. We had 32 golfers join us. The drive out there is a bit long for some, but worth the fun time golfing! The greens were recently punched, so there was a lot of sand and holes, but equal conditions for everyone. San Vicente can be a challenging course!

There were lots of animals spotted around the course including rabbits, turtles, turkeys and big birds. Speaking of birds, we had one Eagle land on Hole #1 by Jojo Hou. And since Hole #1 is the #1 handicap hole, her Eagle was a NET ALBATROSS!!! Shout-out to Taylor Coleman for starting out her round Birdie, Birdie, Birdie! Wow!!

Finally, we had an enjoyable 19th hole with great food, especially the pizzas. We also welcomed a new member playing with us for the first time, Sammy France.

The Game of the Day was Three Blind Mice, a net game where players get to drop their 3 worst holes from their score. We had two flights and two Closet to the Pin (CTTP) Holes for each flight.

The 1st Place player in each flight received a $20 Golf Mart Gift Card and 2nd Place players each received a $10 Golf Mart Gift Card. The CTTP winners received a $10 Golf Mart Gift Card.

The Vineyard Weekday Results

On Monday, May 11th nine of us enjoyed a beautiful warm golf day in Escondido at The Vineyard Golf Course. Most of the group stayed for the 19th Hole in the restaurant and shared fun golf stories from the day. We also welcomed new member Fallon Staples.

The Game of the Day was Odds, a net game where odd numbered holes counted towards our scores, with one flight for the players. We had two flights for the Closet to the Pin contest.

The 1st Place player received a $20 Golf Mart Gift Card and the 2nd Place player received a $10 Golf Mart Gift Card. The CTTP winners received a $10 Golf Mart Gift Card.
