Black Genocide Awareness Project decimates lies and shatters ignorance at the 50th Anniversary of the March on Washington for Jobs and Justice
On Saturday, August 24th, volunteers from CBR Maryland and Life Education and Resource Network (LEARN), a pro-life organization that ministers primarily to the black community, spent nearly seven hours speaking out against the black genocide of abortion.  Our target was the 50th Anniversary of the March on Washington for Jobs and Justice in Washington, DC.

The original March on Washington, which took place August 28th, 1963, was the scene of Martin Luther King, Jr's famous "I have a dream" speech, and was instrumental in righting the long standing injustice of segregation then so prevalent in American society.  Yet today, the spirit and legacy of this pivotal event are exploited to promote pro-abortion policies and politicians.  The rally prior to Saturday's march was orchestrated by the pro-choice National Action Network, led by Al Sharpton. Among those addressing the audience was former Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi and Attorney General Eric Holder, whose wife owns an abortion clinic and who has persecuted pro-life activists.  Every "civil rights issue" imaginable was highlighted and championed except the right of Unborn children to live.  As usual, the most victimized group in America was disenfranchised and denied even the status of 'victim'.

To counteract this, anti-abortionists carried out a Black Genocide Awareness Project along the route of the march and on the National Mall.  Large CBR Maryland banners decrying black genocide and comparing abortion to lynching attracted the attention of the crowds.  The distribution of nearly 5,000 pieces of literature and hundreds of copies of the film Maafa21: Black Genocide in 21st Century America gave those who wanted to learn more a chance to do so, while amplified street preaching ensured that even those who did not want to learn left more knowledgeable than when they came.  Conversations between pro-life volunteers and marchers ensued all day long.

The Black Genocide Awareness Project was impossible to miss as March on Washington participants paraded down Independence Ave.

CBR Maryland's 8 foot and 12 foot GAP signs dwarfed everything else in the march

Marchers study the Black GAP display as they wait for the march to begin.

"What is that, grannie?" asks a very curious girl as she passes by pictures of abortion's victims.  We must be willing to teach kids about injustice, before they become comfortable with it like the previous generation.

Altogether, the Black Genocide Awareness Project was a fantastic event.  Pastor Bobby Fulmore, a LEARN member from North Carolina, was ecstatic: "We got this message out to at least 50 percent of the people who came through here today.  When they saw these signs, when they saw the message, they were touched in their hearts.  We got a chance to preach the Gospel, we got a chance to pass out about 1,000 DVDs of Maafa21 . . . and most of them saw it and they understood what was happening . . . today we prevailed against the gates of hell and we just want to give God the glory!"

Only a few people opposed the pro-life message with any sort of disrespect.  A small contingent of pro-abortion supporters (mostly Caucasian) chanted slogans as they passed beneath the shadow of our 12 foot and 8 foot long banners, which graphically depict the very practice they were so vocally defending.  Needless to say, the contrast was startling.

"Pro-life, that's a lie!  You don't care if women die!" scream a few pro-abortion folks (mostly white) while black attendees look on.

The overwhelming majority of marchers simply observed our messages and contemplated what abortion really entailed.  Many wanted to learn more.

At least four people stepped out of the crowd and spontaneously decided to help us witness, like these young men from Atlanta, GA.

Turns out we weren't the only anti-abortion group at the march!  These folks from Georgia also realized that pro-lifers should not pass up opportunities like Saturday's enormous event.

African Americans
, who constituted the majority of attendees at the March on Washington, are perhaps the most key demographic in the pro-life battle, seeing as 37 percent of children aborted in America are black and yet most blacks are nominally opposed to abortion.   A large percentage of black America would likely support pro-life legislation if they realized what was truly at stake.  Anti-abortion advocates should invest much more time in spreading their message among African Americans, truly the most receptive population segment in the nation.

A day will come when people look back at our era and wonder how we could wave the banner of "civil rights" so brazenly while tolerating, and even celebrating, the vicious killing of our offspring.  Then, we will all wish we had been one of the few that stood for justice when justice had lost its meaning.

Please help CBR Maryland carry out more of these activities on a more regular basis.  We cannot do anything without volunteers, and every extra person multiplies our success dramatically.  There are so many opportunities, and we ought not let a single one go to waste.  Contact us today at to find out how you can bring us closer to the day when we celebrate the end of abortion.

Invite Gregg Cunningham, founder and executive director of Center for Bio-Ethical Reform, to speak at your church, group or home this October 14-18

23 years ago, Gregg and Lois Cunningham  realized that there must be a better way to get  the pro-life message into the minds of Americans.  Together, they founded the Center for  Bio-Ethical Reform (CBR), now one of our nation's leading anti-abortion activist organizations, dedicated to convincing to America that abortion is a savage act of violence against an innocent  human being.  By combining graphic images of abortion's victim with a simple,  solid argument,  CBR has been changing hearts and saving babies both around our country and around the world.

This October 14-18, Gregg will visit our region to meet with pro-life advocates and describe his plans for making abortion unthinkable in the minds of even more Americans.  He is eager to address your church, organization or business. We are convinced that once you hear him, you will have no doubts that CBR's mission is the best effort you could ever participate in and support.

Contact CBR Maryland Co-directors Kurt and Samantha Linnemann at 410-913-3931 or to find out how to schedule Gregg while he is here.  You won't regret the decision!

Gregg Cunningham served in the Pennsylvania House of Representatives, where he was the primary sponsor of the Abortion Control Act.   He is a former lieutenant colonel in the USAF and a Vietnam War veteran.  He served in the Reagan administration's Department of Education and Department of Justice and as a Special Assistant US Attorney for Los Angeles, CA.

Full time pro-lifers needed to work with CBR Maryland!

Seth Drayer at GAP

CBR Maryland is a street activist organization.  Our mission is to establish a dominant, visible pro-life presence at every public venue, all across the region.  That way, despite the media's unwillingness to give our side a fair hearing, Americans cannot escape the reality of abortion and must deal with it.  This means we need lots and lots of volunteers working with us.  Who will recruit these volunteers, instruct them and lead them in activism?

We're on the lookout for more full time pro-lifers to join us in creating the social revolution so vital to real change.  Come work for us as a field operative!

Field operatives are responsible for a wide range of
duties such as organizing and training activist teams, recruiting volunteers, promoting CBR Maryland online, caring for equipment and conducting research related to outreach opportunities.

This is sacrificial work.  Field operatives without independent means of support will live with us at our Maryland headquarters or with a host family.  Other expenses will be provided for via fund-raising, for which each field operative has a responsibility to assist.

Applicants must be of sound mind and body and willing to spend at least one year on the CBR Maryland team.  Anyone is welcome to apply but single adults are preferred.  Contact Kurt Linnemann at 410-913-3931 or to learn more.

Help us convince churches that they must
do something about abortion!

How long do you plead with a congregation about changing their ways and learning to fight abortion?  Until every church member understands what you're saying and at least one corner of their heart is touched.  The Run 2 The Battle project (which involves public witness outside church buildings) is not about forcing concessions but changing hearts.  Help us change them faster!  With just a few more volunteers we can reach a much higher number of people.  Join us weekends north of Baltimore as we continue to stir consciences and make apathy unthinkable. If you aren't convinced that this is the right way to go about it, check out our website at or call us and give us a chance to explain.  Of everything we do, this is perhaps the most important thing of all.

Help us bring the Genocide Awareness Project to
local colleges this fall!

If you or someone you know is a pro life college
student or university faculty, help CBR Maryland bring
the Genocide Awareness Project to your campus this
fall!  The Genocide Awareness Project (GAP) is
probably the greatest anti-abortion educational
outreach that you will ever experience on campus.  It
blows everything else away in terms of exposure and
number of minds changed. Watch this video to see how GAP works, and please help us begin planning these
crucially important projects!  Contact Kurt at
410-913-3931 or
Invite a CBR Maryland speaker to your church,
group or event!

The CBR Maryland family, co-directed by Kurt and
Samantha Linnemann, would love to share their vision
for ending abortion and how you can help make it
happen.  If you would like to know more, contact Kurt at 410-913-3931 /
