Last week's survey results on the question of......
What is your hourly rate? Do you make sure all your cost are covered in this rate?
NZ$80 - does not cover materials, but everything else.
currently we charge between 70 and 88 dollars/h inc GST with all the cost adding up from insurance, worker compensation, superannuation sometime its a really tight fit, specially on little jobs,
Tradesman = $90 ph 3-4 yr apprentice = $80 ph 1-3 yr apprentice = $60 - $80 depending on the type of work & if working alone or assisting tradesman. Actual staff cost per hour is $54 per hour based on 8 hour day 220 days working a year. If you can bill that out at least better than 80% than your will have a profitable year. Keeping lost/down time/redo's to under 20% is harder than you think. Good staff with good work ethics is everything.
Are these this surveys designed to help people who don't have a clue on how to run a business?
$90+GST/hr, including basic consumables like fixings and chemicals.
The hourly rate should be an AIC (all inclusive rate) encompassing your machine costs, labor, electicity consumption, maintenance, share of the plant overhead - ink and substrates should be passed onto your client in the estimated price
Depends but around $90.00 per hour
