Eighteenth Sunday After Pentecost
October 13, 2019
"We invite everyone to share communion around God's altar.
We strive to be a welcoming and relevant Christian community doing what matters through prayer, worship, teaching, outreach, fellowship, and service.
We will demonstrate the real life application of scripture, tradition, and
reason by providing a safe place to respond to each other's needs,
hurts, joys, and interests."

Deep Within
By David Haas
Refrain: Deep within, I will plant my law, not on stone, but in your heart. Follow me; I will bring you back. You will be my own, and I will be your God.
1. I will give you a new heart, a new spirit within you, for I will be your strength.
2. See my face, and see your God, for I will be your hope.
3. Return to me, with all your heart, and I will bring you back.

The Bishop Is Coming!
And You Can Become a Member
Would you like to be a member of the Episcopal Church and be received by the Bishop when he visits on December 1st? The next three weeks @ 9:30, Father Scott will be offering "Episcopal 101," a series of meetings for those who wish to be received as members. It is also for those who are seeking to explore what it means to live a life of faith within and through the Christian community. Some of the topics to be addressed are: deepening our practice of prayer; the foundations of our faith; growing in awareness of God's presence and work within and around us; and seeking God's guidance in our everyday lives.
Join us October 13th, 20th, and 27th at 9:30 in the parish hall.
