The Second Sunday of Easter
April 28, 2019
"We invite everyone to share communion around God's altar.
We strive to be a welcoming and relevant Christian community doing what matters through prayer, worship, teaching, outreach, fellowship, and service.
We will demonstrate the real life application of scripture, tradition, and
reason by providing a safe place to respond to each other's needs,
hurts, joys, and interests."

What we don't know about ourselves can really trip us up, our relationships, and generally how we make our way in the world. It can also keep us in the shallows with God. Have you ever wondered what really makes you tick, why certain things motivate you...or why certain things do not? Consider t
he Enneagram; an ancient personality type system created by early Church fathers & mothers with an uncanny accuracy in describing how human beings are wired, both positively and negatively.
In this formation series, we peek inside each of the 9 Enneagram archetypal human character structures that we naturally gravitate toward. These 9 types form a sort of color wheel that describes the basic archetypes of humanity's tragic flaws, sin tendencies, primary fears and unconscious needs.
The Enneagram is also a sacred map to our soul and a blueprint for developing character that each of us carries throughout our life, but we can't open it until we discover our type. In this series, not only will you learn more about yourself, but you will also start to see the world through other people's eyes, understanding how and why people think, feel, and act the way they do.

Hey Everyone!
Easter was so beautiful and your kids are so great. Thank you to all of the youth that helped put out all of the eggs for our Easter Egg hunt.
Make sure you say congratulations to Ben Johnston on his Baptism last Sunday. Also, please congratulate Addie Bolton for signing on with Piedmont College to run cross country and track in the fall.
I have a few reminders for upcoming events:
- This Sunday, April 28th, is the Hunger Walk in Atlanta. You can still register until noon tomorrow (Friday, April 26), but I'm not sure if you're guaranteed a t-shirt so close to the event. If your child still wants to go, I need to know ASAP. I've got to arrange transportation. We will leave at approx. 8:00 a.m. on Sunday morning. The first event is Eucharist with Bishop Wright. Then lunch and games. The walk begins at 2:00. It should all wrap up around 4:00 and then we'll head home. It's a very full day of fun and fellowship with our brothers and sisters within the diocese.
- Sunday, May 5th is our next youth group meeting at 9:45 a.m. Please try to have your children there. We need to run through the plans for Youth Sunday/ Mother's Day.
- Saturday, May 11th, Six Flags with Grace Calvary youth group. Details coming soon.
- Sunday, May 12th, Youth Sunday/Mother's Day. I've had so many of your children sign up to serve for our youth Sunday. Please check the calendar.
Thank you for your amazing children,
