The Fourth Sunday of Advent
December 23, 2018
"We invite everyone to share communion around God's altar.
We strive to be a welcoming and relevant Christian community doing what matters through prayer, worship, teaching, outreach, fellowship, and service.
We will demonstrate the real life application of scripture, tradition, and
reason by providing a safe place to respond to each other's needs,
hurts, joys, and interests."

Christmas Greetings from the Kidd's
We continue to feel blessed to be living in the beautiful North Georgia Mountains surrounded by God's beautiful creation. It's hard to believe another whole year has come and gone.
In February, a job promotion with Southwire moved Brandon, Jessie and the girls to Starkville, Mississippi. They love their new town and have become big MSU Bulldog fans. Jessie is working as an Art Teacher at two different schools and loves teaching. Kenzie and Lily successfully transitioned into their new schools and have made lots of new friends. Emaline works hard at keeping up with her big sisters and started 2 year old preschool.
Chad, Katie Rose, and Brayden moved earlier this year into the house Chad grew up in. Chad continues to work at Kubota and got to travel to Japan last month with his job. Katie Rose continues to teach at our church's preschool and Brayden is one of her star students. He loves dinosaurs, cars, and playing outside.
We celebrated the marriage of Hannah and Tanner on October 20th. It was a glorious and beautiful wedding. They have worked hard fixing up and getting settled into their new home in Carrollton along with their dog Ollie. Tanner continues to work with Brewers Lantern and Hannah at Southwire.
J.M. is on the homestretch with school working on his BSN in Nursing at the University of North Georgia. He is doing his clinical rotations along with classes and will hopefully be graduating this time next year. He had to have his gall bladder removed right before Thanksgiving but bounced back pretty quickly.
We both continue to work hard at our jobs and thank God every day for them and our Resurrection church family. We hope and pray that you are all doing well and that this season brings you Peace, Joy, and Hope. May the Lord bless you in the coming year.
Love to all,
Scott and Patty
