The Third Sunday in Lent
March 24, 2019
"We invite everyone to share communion around God's altar.
We strive to be a welcoming and relevant Christian community doing what matters through prayer, worship, teaching, outreach, fellowship, and service.
We will demonstrate the real life application of scripture, tradition, and
reason by providing a safe place to respond to each other's needs,
hurts, joys, and interests."

This Sunday's Anthem:
A solo by Elizabeth Cochran
At the River
by Aaron Copland
If you have recently heard a resplendent voice coming from the congregation, then you are aware of one of our newer parishioners, Elizabeth Cochran. Elizabeth lives in Cleveland, but is originally from Macon. She moved here in 2005 after her brother and father died to be with her mother, who had relocated here in 1983 for her job with the State in human resources.
Elizabeth went to school at the Mozarteum University Salzburg in Austria and received her doctorate from Florida State University. She has sung all over the eastern United States and has taught voice, opera workshop, and musical theater in several universities, including Brenau.
Welcome, Elizabeth, to Resurrection!
