Resurrection Sunday (GOOD FRIDAY!) 4/3/26
2 Corinthians 5:17 (KJV 1900)
17Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.

Today I GOOD FRIDAY and it is a GOOD day to be alive-what a strange and exciting era we are NOW living through. Can you say “wars and rumors of wars????”
Matthew 24:6–8 (KJV 1900)
6And ye shall hear of wars and rumours of wars: see that ye be not troubled: for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet.
7For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes, in divers places.
8All these are the beginning of sorrows.
Oh, my God-could this ONLY be the BEGINNING of sorrows?????
I AWOKE, (PRAISE THE LORD THAT WE ALL AWOKE) AGAIN TODAY......
I awoke today with the AMAZING FACT that I, personally, have the INCREDIBLE joy and BLESSING and HONOR of being one to the few CHOSEN!!!!!!!!!!!!!
A while ago I got HOOKED on the excellent series entitled THE CHOSEN!!! I and my dear wife watch at least one episode nightly and we have now watched the entire series numerous times!!!
I absolutely love the characters and the actors and actresses that portray Jesus and the supporting cast-I learn something new and different each time I view.
And yes, I well know that parts of the series are not “Biblical”!!!
But, in MHO, they do not “take away” for the inerrant TRUTH of the Holy Bible.
Jesus is being LIFTED UP!!! And for that I PRAISE THE LORD!!!
I was struck this past week as a dear friend and I discussed the ABSOLUTE miracle and BLESSING of when and how we came to “know the Lord.”
The MIRACLE of being BORN AGAIN and the JOY and PRIVILEGE of becoming “A NEW CREATION.”
He described how he had immersed in Scripture and had attended Church alongside his parents from his earliest recollection and I replied I had not!
My earthly father was a closet Jew and my mother a non-religious Baptist and as a child I was merely “SENT” to the local Churches on demand from my dear mother.
SMILE!! The two local Churches BOTH kicked me out of their Sunday Schools!!!!!
SO, what an amazing MIRACLE that God even CHOSE ME!!!
WHEN I got SAVED-
I WAS, most certainly, NOT looking to be SAVED, and again, MOST CERTAINLY, was NOT seeking a relationship WITH Jesus!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
HOW and WHY He CHOSE me I am completely baffled!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
WHY ME, LORD??????????????????????????????
As I presently read my Bible, I take careful note of the WORDS CHOSE and CHOSEN!
John 15:16 (KJV 1900)
16Ye have not chosen me, but I have chosen you, and ordained you, that ye should go and bring forth fruit, and that your fruit should remain: that whatsoever ye shall ask of the Father in my name, he may give it you.
On this AMAZING DAY-GOOD FRIDAY-
SELAH-THINK ON THIS, if you will for a LONG moment!!!!!!
TODAY, IF you are SAVED, IF you are a NEW CREATURE, IF “old things are passed away”
REJOICE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
