Legislative Requests and Platform: Now Live on sbe.wa.gov SBE's 2021 legislative priorities and request legislation information are now viewable on the State Board's web page dedicated to this topic: sbe.wa.gov/waleg. Request legislation includes: emergency waiver of graduation requirements, emergency waiver of instructional hours and days at private schools, new graduation credit and pathway options, and support for Mastery-based learning.

I’m Lieutenant Sarah Boggins and I am the Air Force ROTC Scholarship & Admissions Advisor for students who live in Washington and Alaska.  Not long ago, I was a high school senior tasked with a daunting mission: Determine your future. Overwhelming to say the least, right? If college is something you’re considering, I am all too familiar with the concern of funding your higher education experience.  Luckily for me, I happened upon the Air Force ROTC High School Scholarship Program. This program gives high school seniors financial aid for college, followed by a guaranteed career in the Air Force (or Space Force!) upon graduation. Air Force ROTC provided me with the financial aid I needed to earn my bachelor’s degree. Now, I am an officer in the United States Air Force, embarking on a new and exciting career journey.  If you’re curious about Air Force ROTC’s scholarship opportunities, the adventures you’ll have and the family you’ll discover within the program, or the thrill of becoming a confident leader in the world’s greatest Air Force or Space Force, feel free to contact me.
