All the articles this month are a MUST READ! First, let's just say it...should we all retire? Is it really best for our sense of wellbeing? I went to hear a lady speak who owned a large and successful company that supplies vegetables. Her newsletter content was so great that I read it each month! Recently she shared this story about her mom, who founded the company and she is STILL a go-getter and working at "96!" . Next, the subject of finding friends after the age of 60 may seem a bit of challenge. Gone are days of soccer and school musicals and all the parent involvement. Let me start by saying that I have no near-term plan to retire. But I would like to share what my 96-year-old mother thinks about retirement.

Most of you have heard of my mom, Dr. Frieda Rapoport Caplan. And that up until 2019, my mom was coming into our office four days a week (she cut back a few years ago from five days a week).
