After an extraordinary 39-year career with Loudoun Mutual, we are announcing the retirement of Timothy J. Koppenhaver, effective September 1, 2026.
Throughout Tim’s nearly four decades of dedicated service, he has exemplified professionalism, integrity, and a steadfast commitment to excellence. Tim has served in a variety of roles, helping guide the Company through significant growth and change. During his tenure, Loudoun Mutual’s premium has grown from $6.5 million to $98 million, reflecting the strength and stability he helped to build.
Beyond his leadership responsibilities, Tim has been a passionate steward of our company's history and culture. He served as our unofficial photographer and company historian, authoring our 175th Anniversary commemorative book and preserving many of the milestones that define our legacy.
Many of you have had the opportunity to work alongside Tim over the years, and we know you join us in recognizing the lasting impact he has made on our organization, our independent agency partners, and the policyholders we proudly serve. Please join us in congratulating Tim on his well-earned retirement and thanking him for his remarkable 39 years of service. We wish him health, happiness, and every success as he begins this exciting new chapter.
