The SECURE Act and Retirement Plans
You may have heard of the SECURE Act. Although this has yet to clear the Senate, the legislation could make IRAs a more attractive component of retirement strategies and create a path for more annuities to be offered in retirement plans. However, it would also change the withdrawal rules on inherited “stretch IRAs.”
How Medigap Choices are Changing
New Medicare enrollees (2020 or later) will be unable to buy Medigap Plan F or Plan C. These are the two Medicare Supplement policies that cover Medicare’s Part B deductible (currently $185).
