Psychology Today
has an interesting article on how what you do with your dog after training can help reinforce the day's lessons.
The study found that "the dogs who had received the play session after training relearned the task 40% faster than the dogs who rested after the training session (an average of 26 training trials for the play group versus 43 trials for the rest group).
