The TNTE Chrome Lined Pencil 20" barrel is chrome lined and machined from 4150 Chrome Moly Vanadium 11595E steel, rifled 1 x 9" RHT. An A1 Flash Suppressor, standard A2 Front Sight base with sling swivel and bayonet lug are fitted.

The assembly includes premium quality rifle length handguards molded from a fiberglass composite for heat resistance in sustained fire - they will not deform when subjected to high barrel heat.

This 20" 604 Profile Upper Assembly is your perfect retro 60s, 70s, 80s and 90s upper.

The Green Mountian barrel has a milspec phosphate finish and machined from 4150 Chrome Moly Vanadium 11595E steel. Rifled 1 x 12" RHT. The chamber and bore are chrome lined. An A1 Flash Suppressor, standard height Front Sight base with sling swivel and bayonet lug are fitted with taper pins.

The assembly includes premium quality rifle length handguards molded from a fiberglass composite for heat resistance in sustained fire - they will not deform when subjected to high barrel heat.

Here is one of our favorite custom builds. We decided to try and rebuild the old school C7 M-16A1 Carbine These are using a true M-4 carbine barrel with a 1/7 twist. The Faxon Gunner barrel is made of 41V50 steel and the chamber/bore is QPQ. We use a SureFire Warcomp on it then pin and weld to complete compliance with the 16" OAL length rule. By doing so this is not a NFA/SBR item. C7 Upper receiver is black finished. Handguards are single wall Mil-Spec.

The 80's and 90's saw major changes to the modern duty rifles carried by US forces. Most notable the adoption of the carbine gas system and shorter barrel over the longer rifles. These advancements where directly related to the requests from special forces units such as SOF-D, Army Rangers, and Navy SEALs. The 723 and 727 were the precursor to the modern M4 we all know today. This is the model Larry Vickers talks about in the books.

The spikes government contour barrel features a Spikes .625 1/7 LE series pencil carbine barrel for long life and superior accuracy. The A1 style upper has vintage A1 styling without a modern feature of a shell deflector. This item is for SBR or Pistol Use only. The flashing and bayonet lug have been removed from the FSB.
