Fall is here, and our Concert Season is back!
One month from now (Oct. 27 & 29) our talented roster of musicians will take the stage in Encinitas and Orange County in our first big show of our 25th season, Retrospective 1: The Early Years. Here’s what Joe McNalley, our Artistic Director, has to say about the program:
"This concert takes us back to the very beginning of the Hutchins Consort, when we had these amazing new instruments, but only a precious few pieces and arrangements to play on them. Founding mezzo-violinist Kevin Connolly will be joining us as we revisit some of the most cherished pieces from those early years, including Gordon Jacob's Aphorisms and the late Fred Charlton's masterpiece, Octopus Therapy."
