Based on Celesco's original string pot design, the PT101 has become the standard for many applications, including aircraft structural testing, hydraulic cylinder control, valve stem opening, and factory automation.

Available in full stroke ranges of up to 100 inches, the PT101 provides a voltage feedback signal that is linearly proportional to the position of its traveling stainless steel measuring cable.

These are compact, Economical, and durable. They are designed to fit into tight spaces and high-cycle applications, while also allowing for generous cable misalignments. Available in 4 different measuring ranges and with handy mounting brackets. These are a perfect solution for applications from light industrial to OEM.

The Compact String Encoder is just the digital encoder version of the Compact String Pot Series. Economical and durable, it utilizes a flexible cable, a spring-loaded spool, and an incremental optical encoder to detect and measure linear position.
