The Worship Team has received several inquiries for revisiting the in-person worship suspension.
After prayerful and thoughtful consideration the Worship Team acknowledges the metrics set earlier in this process were prudent for the time. Due to several factors including mandatory testing for many businesses, increased vaccination rate, projected future numbers, and most children returning to school, we believe overall our metrics are now too restrictive for those households interested in attending in-person worship.
Therefore, we will return to in-person worship this coming Sunday September 19th. We will continue to offer online worship at 9 am and in-person at 10:30 am. We are finalizing installation for new technology and will move to one hybrid worship service in the coming weeks.
If at anytime, the numbers escalate significantly the Worship Team and Church Council will revisit this decision.
As recommended by the CDC, masks will still be required inside for all participants, including musicians and leaders.
We are grateful to the Kaye family for offering Watch Parties during the summer. This was a true gift to those who participated. We will consider offering them again, but not this fall.
