Wednesday, August 26, 2020 8:15 AM Virtual Distance Learning
When we are in school In-Person, Virtual Distance Learning students will learn from home. It will be as simple as students setting up a computer on a desk and teachers inviting these students to a virtual Google Meet session during the regularly scheduled class time. Distance Learning students will be able to see the entire lesson, interact with their class, raise their hands to volunteer or ask questions, etc. They will still be an integral part of the class even though they are at home.

for a Virtual Distance Learning Student Checklist that students can use daily to keep themselves organized.
One additional question we have received is whether or not Virtual Distance Learning students are permitted to participate in sports/activities/dances/etc. The answer is yes, as a full time York Catholic student, virtual learners are complete members of the student body.
Please know that teaching in front of a classroom while also attending to students online will be new for all of us, but our goal is to keep the instruction, communication, and community as connected as we possibly can. Please be patient with us as we continue working and learning simultaneously.
