NISD Offers Curbside Meal Pick Up during Remote Learning

Beginning Thursday, August 20, Northwest ISD will serve meals via curbside pick-up to any student whose family wishes to participate. Breakfast and lunch will be offered together from 11:30 a.m. until 1:30 p.m., Monday – Friday.

Families are required to verify student enrollment (for each student in their household) when picking up meals.

PRE-ORDERING: If families order online through Nutrislice, students may choose their entrée. One side is automatically included, and students can select an additional side. White or chocolate milk is optional. If you need help ordering, follow these instructions.
WITHOUT PRE-ORDERING: Students will receive one entrée, two sides (one fruit and one vegetable), and their choice of white or chocolate milk.

Prices for Curbside Meals:

Breakfast
Student Price: $1.35
Adult Price: $1.70
Price for families that qualify for reduced-price meals: $0.30
For families that qualify for free meals: $0
Lunch
Student Price: $2.75
Adult Price: $3.40
Price for families that qualify for reduced-price meals: $0.40
For families that quality for free meals: $0

To comply with the recommended CDC guidelines, all meals will be prepared for curbside pick-up. No group meals or congregating will be allowed. Meals will be served outside of the listed schools in the back cafeteria entrance of the listed locations:

Adams Middle School: 1069 Eagle Blvd., Haslet
Beck Elementary School: 401 Parkview Dr., Trophy Club
Chisholm Trail Middle School: 583 FM 3433, Rhome
Love Elementary: 16301 Elementary Dr., Justin
Tidwell Middle School:3937 Haslet-Roanoke Rd., Roanoke
Wilson Middle School: 14250 Sendera Ranch Blvd., Haslet

Snack Sack Program Continues during Remote Learning

Northwest ISD's Snack Pack program, part of the iNvest2Serve initiative, has served approximately 19,000 snack packs since March to students who are in need of food and cannot access other community resources.

Through the program, students who were in need during the pandemic received food delivered to their door each week, thanks to the generosity of our community and staff.

The centralized Snack Pack program will continue through September 11 while students are in Remote Learning. Beginning the week of September 14, Snack Packs will be coordinated at each campus with the updated list of students since March.
