We miss our Mercy students! We are pleased that Governor Gretchen Whitmer announced yesterday her intent for all Michigan schools to welcome students back into classrooms in the fall. Detailed health and safety requirements are to be released by the end of the month to guide the return to school planning process. Please see communication from the AOD Department of Catholic Schools here.
We are developing several instructional and scheduling models that will allow us to ensure continuity of learning despite the fluid social distancing restrictions that may be in place due to the COVID-19 pandemic. These models support allowances of full student body presence or limited student body presence, as well as adjusting to mandatory virtual learning. We look forward to sharing details with you in the coming weeks.
Thank you for your participation in the E-LEARNING and Return to School parent surveys. This feedback is invaluable to us as we develop a plan to best support the needs of our students, staff and parents.
The health and safety of our Mercy family is of highest priority as we commit to providing the excellence of a Mercy education. We appreciate your support, prayers and partnership as we together navigate these uncharted waters.
