Dear Eagle Families,

All new and returning students will attend a mandatory orientation at SMCHS before the first day of classes. Incoming Freshmen and transfers have received a separate communication regarding their SOARientation.

At Returning Student Orientation students will:

• Take their ID and yearbook photos Click here for additional information about senior portraits 
• Seniors will order their cap and gown (included with the graduation fee). 
• Juniors will have the opportunity to order class rings. 
• Attend important presentations from SMCHS staff on updated policies and key information for the new school year.
• Pick up parking permits and class T-shirts (if pre-purchased, more information on class T-shirts is forthcoming) 
• Receive other essential items for the first day of school 
• Have the opportunity to visit the Tech Center and Counseling Offices. 

Attire: SMCHS full school uniform. Students must be clean-shaven, and their hair and attire must adhere to the 2025-2026 dress code.

Last Name T-Z, 11:00-12:30pm
