The REUNION WEEKEND for men's and women's basketball players that competed Pueblo Junior College, Southern Colorado State College, University of Southern Colorado and Colorado State University Pueblo is February 18 and 19. Jim von Loh will also be honored as the school's first player to be selected as a first-team Academic All-Amerian. READ MORE
The 2021-2022 season marks the 50th anniversary of the CSU Pueblo "elite eight" men's basketball team that advanced to the national finals in Evansville, Ind.
It is also the 10th anniversary for CSUP's women's five that earned an at-large bid for the NCAA Division II nationals at Wayne, Neb.

Friday, February 18
- For early arrivals, a 4;30 p.m. reception in the WolfPack Room at Massari Arena hosted by "The Chief".
- Half-time of men's game against Western Colorado, CSU Pueblo will have a presentation to Barbara, Sam Jr., & Daa Batey to honor the late Sam Batey, who played at Pueblo Junior College (1961-1962 and 1962-1963 seasons) and Southern Colorado State College (1963-1964 and 1964-1965).
Saturday, February 19
- 11:30 a.m. luncheon for all basketball alumni at the ThunderZone Pizza & Tap House (2270 Rawlings Blvd, Pueblo, CO 81001) across the street from CSUP's ThunderBowl on the Belmont Campus. Hosted by "The Chief" and RSVP to Tim Simmons.
- For early arrivals, a 4;30 p.m. reception in the WolfPack Room at Massari Arena. Hosted by "The Chief".
- The women's 2012 NCAA team will be honored before the start of the women's game at 5:30 p.m. against Fort Lewis at Massari Arena.
- The women's basketball alumni will be recognized and introduced at halftime of the women's game.
- The men's 1972 NCAA "elite eight" team will be honored before the start of the men's game at 7:30 p.m. against Fort Lewis.
- The men's basketball alumni will be recognized and introduced at halftime of the men's game.

10th - The 2011-2012 CSU-Pueblo's women's basketball team posted a 21-7 record and earned the school's first-ever at-large bid for the NCAA Division II Championships. Seeded fifth in the Central Regionals at Wayne, Neb., Coach Kip Drown squad was competing in the nationals for the fifth time in seven campaigns. The Pack placed third in the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference regular-season standings with an 18-4 record. Guard Kendall Babler was a first-team all-league pick. Laurel Kearsley and Jennelle Branting earned second- and third-team all-conference recognition, respectively. | | |
50th - The 1971-72 Southern Colorado State College (now CSU Pueblo) squad compiled a 19-9 record and earned the school's third NCAA College Division post-season berth. Coach Harry Simmons’ Indians hosted the West Region at Massari Gym. By defeating UC Irvine and Seattle Pacific in the regionals, SCSC became the first Colorado school to advance to the College Division "elite eight" in Evansville, Ind. The Tribe won the Plains Division of the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference with a 10-2 record before defeating Adams State 79-66 at Massari Gym to capture the league title. Guard Cal Tatum, forward Steve Kidd and center Dan England were all Great Plains first-team picks. Tatum and Jim von Loh were named to the NCAA West Regional all-tournament team. | | |
