Alvarado-Torrech comes to Lehman College from the CUNY School of Professional Studies where she was Confidential Assistant to the Dean. She now rejoins Provost Jorge Silva-Puras in The Bronx in her new role.
At CUNY SPS, Alvarado-Torrech led numerous special projects; among them, helping to develop pilot courses and development initiatives. She was also an important liaison between the faculty, staff, and students and the Office of the Dean.
Alvarado-Torrech is a double graduate of the Universidad del Sagrado Corazon in Puerto Rico, where she earned a bachelor's degree in business administration and a master's degree in information systems auditing. She then went on to work there for 11 years as a Financial Analyst, then Manager, before joining CUNY at SPS.
