The Christmas nativity story begins with a conception. A young woman called Mary is told that she will bear a child "conceived of the Holy Spirit." So the adventure begins of the Christ being born in our midst. For us too, the new, higher self we can become is born in us as we follow the guidance of God. Can you conceive of it?

"Hope in a Dark Time"

Reading the ancient Christmas stories again, one is struck by the hopefulness of the Christmas characters. In a world of chaos, violence, and political turmoil, a group of diverse and ordinary folks come in contact with the grace of God and are inwardly transformed. There is little change in their outer world, but inside a resilient hope is born, and a power to move forward with courage and strength. So it is for us in the dark times of our lives.

2025 VISION BOARD WORKSHOP

Sunday, Jan. 12th at 12 noon

After a guided reflection on our visions for the New Year, we'll create a Vision Board Collage. Poster board and glue sticks will be provided. Participants can bring markers, scissors, and magazines to share. However, plenty of materials will be on hand as well. Donation basis. Gratitude to Tamara Leeper for coordinating this visionary experience for us.
