Our prayer chaplains continue to be active while we are social distancing, and not able to gather together. Whether you have a joy to multiply or a sorrow to divide, our Prayer Chaplains join you in prayer.  Feel free to reach out to your prayer chaplain. If you are not sure who your prayer chaplain is, please contact Karen in the office.

Our transitional consultant, Rev Sandy Butler, is available for prayer support as well. Please email her at butlersandra01@gmail.com to schedule a call.

Live-streaming will begin at 9:55 am! You can join the video and in the comments say "Good Morning" and send greetings to your fellow congregants as we countdown to our service beginning at 10:05.

Read the Daily Word for our Sunday Service from the comfort and safety of your own home


We are inviting people to video-record themselves reading the Daily Word for playback at Sunday service. Karen will be maintaining a schedule in the office. Please contact her at unitylv@rcn.com if you would like to be part of the service by reading the Daily Word. You can click on the link below to read the schedule to date.

Here's how it works: You will receive the text for the Daily Word for the Sunday you choose, you record it on your phone and send the video via email. Your video will be incorporated into the Sunday Service!

We are trying very hard to keep everyone connected until we can resume some kind of normalcy for our Sunday services.
Once you select your date, and have the Daily Word for that day, you can record yourself and send it in to the office. You do not need to wait. The recording will be stored to be played on your day of choice.

We don't have anyone scheduled. Please consider volunteering to record yourself reading the Daily Word!
Podcast/Book Club
A group of people from Unity of Lehigh Valley are participating together in a book/podcast club that meets weekly on Monday nights. 
 
Each week we discuss chapters from a selected book or podcast. We select content that has a spiritual flavor. 
 
The virtual meetings are conducted through Zoom. You can jump in at any time. 
 
Please join us Monday February 22nd from 7 to 8 pm to discuss ”Seeing White – Season 2 Episodes 7 & 8” The podcast is led by John Biewen.

Unity of Lehigh Valley continues to incur routine bills, even while we are not meeting in our sanctuary. Your continued gifts assure the ongoing work that we do and maintaining our building to return to.

AV Team
Are you interested in helping with our live-stream services? If so, the AV team is looking for volunteers!

We are in the process of rebuilding our AV team. Our team members should be comfortable with a computer and able to respond to internet "glitches" should they arise.

AV team members will be trained to operate our new camera equipment, operate the sound board and bringing in speakers via the Zoom platform into our FB live service.

Ultimately, we would like to have 3 volunteers for each Sunday. One to operate the camera, one to operate the slides and interact with the Zoom speaker and one member to focus on audio.

We have been so blessed and are so grateful to Bill Gastinger for bringing us into the 21st century for livestreaming. When Bill stepped up to volunteer, we were still recording our services on a cell phone! Bill has fine-tuned our practices and procedures to bring a quality live-stream event each Sunday, and we are thrilled that Bill will remain on our AV team, and is willing to train our new volunteers!

We will continue to live-stream even when ULV opens up to the public without restrictions. So, we need a pool of volunteers to help with this. The AV team is now even more critical to ULV than in the past.

Membership Renewals
Membership renewals went out in the US mail last Thursday. Our bylaws require yearly renewal of membership. Please complete the renewal form and return to Unity of Lehigh Valley either by US mail, fax to 610-965-1100 or scan and email to unitylv@rcn.com by February 26th to vote in our annual membership meeting on February 28th.
