ULV Weekly Update
Come let us walk each day of this momentous week with the Master, as we learn to refrain from negative thinking and feed on the rich ideas of Divine Mind.

"Spring Thaw"
Rev Julie Vance

Spring is the time for beginnings, new life, renewal, and awakening to possibilities. As winter turns to spring, what was frozen or hidden beneath
the surface of the earth comes alive again.

As we begin to emerge from a time of isolation, what is waiting beneath the surface in us to come forth with new energy and enthusiasm?

How do we open up to life and to being the unique expression of Spirit each of us is created to be?

In-Person Sunday Services Opening on Easter!
On April 4th, Easter Sunday, we will be open to the public without reservations! We would love to see you all!

On Easter Sunday, Rev Sandy Butler will be delivering her message on a prerecorded video, since she does have another engagement already scheduled. Her message will be shown on the screen in the Sanctuary.

Anthony is preparing an Easter celebration with live music with some of our ULV ensemble!

At this time, there will not be fellowship downstairs after the service as in pre-Covid days. Fellowship downstairs will resume at a later date.

Masks and 6-foot distancing required as per current CDC guidelines. If guidelines should change before we gather together on Easter, the new established guidelines will be posted and followed.

Services will continue to be live-streamed at 10:00am on our Facebook page.
Lenten Prayer
Below is the Lenten prayer read by Rev Sandy on March 14th from the Unity Lenten booklet for 2021, "Release and Renew".
Even though Lent ends on Saturday, you may still request a copy of the 2021 Lenten booklet directly from Unity if you so desire. Just click on the link!
Prayer Chaplain Message
My dear friends,

Please know, the prayer chaplains of ULV are holding all of you in thought and prayer.

We pray that you are blessed and that you feel the energy of Spirit active in all your affairs.

We affirm for you and all those you love: health, happiness, order and prosperity.

We see you blessed for your Highest Good, healthy, protected and loved by sweet Spirit.

As the snow melts and winter fades away, we know that Spring will arrive.

Just as we can be sure the season changes by the grace of God, we can be sure that we will gather again at ULV to worship as a community with our right and perfect senior minister.

In the meantime, if you need prayer support, you can contact your prayer chaplain or make a request through the ULV Office for your prayer chaplain to contact you. Silent Unity is another resource if you need immediate support. (#816-969-2000).

God Bless You,
Teré O'Malley

Read the Daily Word for our Sunday Service from the comfort and safety of your own home

We are inviting people to video-record themselves reading the Daily Word for playback at Sunday service. Karen will be maintaining a schedule in the office. Please contact her at if you would like to be part of the service by reading the Daily Word. You can click on the link below to read the schedule to date.

Here's how it works: You will receive the text for the Daily Word for the Sunday you choose, you record it on your phone and send the video via email. Your video will be incorporated into the Sunday Service!

Once you select your date, and have the Daily Word for that day, you can record yourself and send it in to the office. You do not need to wait. The recording will be stored to be played on your day of choice.

Unity or Unitarian Universalist?
If you’ve ever said “Unity” to someone only to hear them say, “Do you mean Unitarian?” you know there is often confusion about what the similarities (and differences) are.
