For All Generations – Reveal Sunday Review

First Pres Family,

Three weeks ago we were asked to prayerfully make a financial commitment to the For All Generations campaign. Thus far, we have received a total of 144 commitments. Even as that number grows, I believe this is evidence that God is able to do far beyond all that we could ask or imagine (Ephesians 3:20-21). With a tremendous amount of gratitude, we have received $2,317,668.49 in commitments to date. This represents 92 percent of the campaign’s target of 2.5 million dollars

I included the 49 cents as it’s indicative of the church-wide participation in this endeavor thus far. Those cents were part of what our children gathered and contributed. From the youngest to the oldest generation, you have enthusiastically committed to give towards an effort that will further our church’s mission of inviting all generations into a growing life with Jesus Christ.

As the chair of this campaign and on behalf of the Church Staff, Session, and Master Plan Committee, I want to thank you all for your participation and encourage you to continue in prayer as we proceed in finalizing and implementing the plans for refreshing and renovating our church campus and expanding our mission into the greater community.

Richard Lauber

Mr. Mitchell-Matthews has sung with local, national, and international orchestras, including the Detroit Symphony Orchestra and the Singapore Chinese Orchestra, to name a few. His voice was described as rich, honey-toned, and crystal clear in the Charleston Herald.

New Adult Education Series Begins April 27

“The Transforming Fire of Divine Love”

Sundays, April 27-May 18

10:30 a.m. in Stewart Hall

The class will do a deep dive into the biblical teaching that “God is love.” How can this be true if God judges us and holds us accountable for how we live? Does God love everyone or just some of us? Why does this matter? These and many related questions will draw us into this subject. Dr. Armstrong is the author of the book “The Transforming Fire of Divine Love.” You can learn more about the book and see the video at thetransformingfire.com. Copies of the book will be available for purchase.
