We understand that these are challenging times, and there is a lot of information out there. We want to remind everyone that the RETAC is a resource and that you can reach out to us if you need help or have questions. EMResource

EMResource is a free platform provided by the State that is primarily used to identify hospital status. There is also an EMS/Fire view that might be helpful to use during this time. In addition, there is a COVID-19 view to show who has PPE, vents, staffing, and also lists EOC and nursing supervisor phone numbers.

To ensure all information is correct, both Hospitals and EMS Agencies should update regularly.

Injury Prevention

Regional Medical Direction

Regional Medical Director

We are actively recruiting a Regional Medical Director to serve as a physician advisor and liaison for the Central Mountains. Please see the link below for the scope of work details. Compensation will include travel and per diems. Additional compensation is negotiable.

The Ideal Candidate:

A physician who works in the Central Mountains region (Eagle, Chaffee, Lake, Park, Pitkin, and Summit counties) and has a strong working knowledge of Emergency Medical Services operations and protocols.
Has experience serving as a Medical Director for an EMS agency in the region.
Will work collaboratively with the RMD Coordinator and will help develop the role over time.
Preferred: Emergency Physician with Fellowship in EMS
