Revised Notice of May 26 Council Meeting

The Delta Stewardship Council has posted a revised meeting notice with updated locations for the Sacramento-San Joaquin Delta tour.

The Council will meet on May 26, 2022, at 8:00 AM (note different from the usual start time). The meeting will start with the Council’s consideration of two contract amendments and one new contract. The Council will also hold an election for a new Council chair.

At approximately 8:30 AM, the Council will undertake a tour of the Delta to see on-the-ground examples that inform the Council’s work. As part of the tour, the Council will hear from Council staff, the Delta Watermaster, and representatives of the U.S. Geological Survey, Restore the Delta, and Little Manila Rising. The tour entails both road-accessible stops and a boat tour. Please refer to the revised meeting notice for the itinerary and locations of tour stops. All times are estimates and are not guaranteed.

All public spaces on the boat portion of the tour have been filled. If you are interested in joining the waiting list, please email engage@deltacouncil.ca.gov.

All members of the public are responsible for their transportation to and from road-accessible tour sites, as well as their food and water.
