Dear NEPPA Members,
In an effort to stream-line and improve our training delivery method, NEPPA is implementing some changes to our 2019 @Your-Site training program schedule. Within the next few weeks, we will reach out to each system to determine which training topics you will need to meet the annual OSHA and other compliancy training requirements. As you are likely aware, the new OSHA compliant requirements will go into effect beginning February 1, 2019 and we want to ensure that our member systems are on schedule to complete their OSHA required training.
To enable more opportunities for you to access appropriate training, we are adopting a set training schedule, which will include the annually required classes. The “set” schedule will include the annually required meetings, with specific topics covered each month. Should you miss a training, we will offer a “make-up” session at a later date. We will continue to provide the option to attend meetings at NEPPA headquarters, or at a regional location and as always, we welcome the opportunity to have member hosted classes. If you are interested in hosting a class, please call the office at (978) 540-2200 to discuss the details.
Effective January 1, 2019, we will be moving to a per person fee structure for our training. The fee for the @Your-Site Training classes will be $68 per person, with a minimum charge of $600 per class. Classes for less than 9 people will be billed at the minimum. I will be sending out the 2019 training schedule by mid-November to ensure that you’re able to register prior to January.
