It has been a privilege to educate rental housing providers and the professionals who serve them in a diverse law practice encompassing a wide range of landlord-tenant topics.
In this venue, we wanted to focus on tenant buyout agreements, which may be an attractive option when there are no legal or convenient means to evict.
The value of having a tenant voluntarily vacate should be readily apparent, but tenant buyouts can be tricky in terms of procedural requirements, drafting a legally compliant contract, and having a constructive dialogue with a tenant about a chapter change in their lives.
Of course, we don't want to break the bank when escorting them out.
If you want to broach a discussion with a tenant about moving out voluntarily to avoid the morass of an eviction and maximize the upside potential of the property, our office is very comfortable in working with you to accomplish the goal.
As always, I am accessible via email at daniel@bornstein.law. Thank you for your continued engagement as we power through your real estate challenges.
