General Daniel Morgan: Local Hero

Sal DeSapio, a true wealth of historical information, will be speaking on the life and military service of an integral Patriot and crusader in the American Revolution General Daniel Morgan.
Sal is a member of the Mogan's Rifle Company, Lamb's Artillery, Bray's Company, and Washington Crossing's Re-enactors and is the township historian for Kingwood, New Jersey. Sal is a volunteer and employee at the Red Mill Museum Village leading workshops and lecturing.
Against Independence in 1776: John Allen, John Vought and Hunterdon's Loyalist Uprising

In December 1776, 75 Hunterdon County Loyalists skirmished with the Patriot militia on their way to join the British to form the sixth battalion New Jersey Volunteers. Come hear the real story and get to know the two men behind it all - John Allen and John Vought.
Donald, a doctor of Political Science, is an accomplished lecturer, professor, and has authored booklets detailing the Vought Family during the American Revolution. Donald has also been integral in the preservation of the 1759 Vought House, serving as President. Recently thanks to his and the organization's efforts, the Vought House received a Historic Preservation Award sponsored by the state Department of Environmental Protection and the New Jersey Historic Sites Council.

The Flemington Raid

A fierce firefight broke out in December of 1776, when the British Commander of New Jersey sent orders to conduct a raid on Flemington. Sunday morning, come hear the tale of the bloodshed that ensued!
Chip Riddle is a local historian, lecturer, and teacher of 38 years. Chip authored the book, Colonial and Revolutionary Bethlehem Township, and recently published New Jersey at the Alamo: Richard Stockton in the Alamo Journal. Chip is also an employee and beloved volunteer at the Red Mill Museum Village. At this year's Revolutionary War Days, Chip will lecture on the events of the Flemington Raid.
The American Loyalist Corps: An overview of Americans in the service of King George III during the American Revolution Todd Braisted

Todd Braisted knows a thing or two about Loyalists, in fact, he even portrays one! Come get to know what it meant to serve King George III during the American Revolution and catch a glimpse of what a true Loyalist would have thought!
Todd, a long-time researcher of the Loyalist Military, is an accomplished author and lecturer. He has been published in numerous journals as well as co-authoring and authoring many books on the Revolutionary War. He is involved in various history-related organizations and has appeared on television, spokne on radio programs, and has completed extensive site work with school groups, interpretative programs, and reenactments.
