When I was a boy and I would see scary things in the news, my mother would say to me, “Look for the helpers. You will always find people who are helping.” ~Fred Rogers
This quote shows up often in distressing times for our communities. It is important for all of us to remember and see the good in people, but it is especially important for your students at any age. We would like to share our heartfelt thanks with all Rhode Island educators for showing up for your students, their families, and your peers in such a significant way. You are the helpers that Fred's mom described. Speaking for all of us at Rhode Island PBS, we see you and we appreciate you.
