Updates and Resources from Rhode Island PBS Education Services
You Did It!
Congratulations! The 2019-2020 school year is coming to an end. It feels very different to celebrate with alternate or cancelled year-end events and virtual goodbyes, but you and your students have found new paths to success and made history with your efforts.

We hope that you are able to enjoy the summer months making time for self-care and family time, while at the same time we know you will also be planning for the new school year. Don't forget to check for updates on ways you can get involved, PD offerings and our annual Back to School Educator Celebration in upcoming summer newsletters!

Viola Davis , winner of an Academy Award, an Emmy Award, and two Tony Awards, will deliver the keynote address.  Billy Gilman , two-time Grammy Award nominee and runner-up on  The Voice,  will perform his single, “Soldier.”  Erika Van Pelt , a top-10 contestant on  American Idol , will sing the National Anthem.

Speakers include the Governor, Education Commissioner Angélica Infante-Green,  RI House Speaker Nicholas Mattiello , and  RI Senate President Dominick J. Ruggerio .

Confronting Racism
