As Senator, Ward will fight to significantly reduce property taxes with the goal of one day completely alleviating the burden on Texas families. She will always champion public safety measures that rise to meet the threats of today’s criminals and tomorrow’s technologies. Ward is uniquely familiar with the skyrocketing insurance rates and will seek immediate solutions for swift results. Ward is a believer in limited-government philosophies that reduce regulation, create jobs, and allow businesses to thrive, and she will advocate for those policies in the Legislature.
"A lot has changed throughout Senate District 3 over the last 15 years as it has across the state,” said Ward. “I have spent my career in business and real estate. My family is deeply rooted in this district, and we care deeply about its future. I am experienced and prepared to serve. I know the battle ahead and I am prepared to win for a stronger, conservative future for Senate District 3 and its constituents.”
