A great way to promote our Carlisle Businesses at the 2023 National Balloon Classic
OVER THE TOP! is the theme for the 2023 National Balloon Classic, July 28 – August 5. More than 100 pilots from around the world fill the sky of Warren Count with brilliant colors as they compete for points, prizes, and championship titles. Each night guests enjoy extraordinary entertainment, including live music, Nite Glow™, Kids Land, Fantastic Fireworks, kite shows, skydivers, fabulous food concessions, and so much more!
As one of the oldest and largest hot air balloon events in the nation, the National Balloon Classic is a vital contributor to Iowa tourism and area economies. Tourism is about more than places to visit; it’s about economic growth, quality of life, and sustainable communities. Recognized as one of the Best of the Midwest and 11 Best Small-Town Festivals in America by Midwest Living and Readers Digest magazines, 80,000-100,000 guests of all ages come from around the world to attend this time-honored annual summer event.
Celebrating Warren County
In addition to the Celebrating Warren County parade on Saturday, July 29, we want to ensure that our pilots, crew, and their families use their downtime to Wander Warren County. Each year, the Pilot and Crew Relations Committee gives each pilot a welcome pack filled with goods and services such as coupons, freebies, BOBO offers, and branded items. Sky’s the limit with unique and usable items. This is an outstanding way to promote your brand/business while getting visitors to your door.
Take Your Brand/Business to New Heights
Don’t have items to put in the pilot pack? No problem, there are other ways to support. Single, larger items such as merchandise, gift cards, or gift baskets are used for nightly pole grab prizes, and cash donations of $250 get special recognition as a field sponsor via tower announcements during the event. Regardless of your donation level, your name will be included on the “Support those who support you” flyer in each pilot pack.
If you would like to donate individual items, we have 125 packs to fill. All donations must be submitted no later than July 1, 2023.
