Join the Greater Utica Chamber of Commerce along with its staff, board, Ambassadors, and Catalyst on Friday, March 1st at 2:30pm to celebrate Mohawk Valley Association of REALTORS® (MVAR) 25th Anniversary at 41 Notre Dame Lane.
On March 1, 1994, the then Greater Utica Board of Realtors (GURBR) moved into the association's brand new building at 41 Notre Dame Lane in Utica. In 2012, GURBR merged with the Herkimer & Rome Boards, and the organization changed its name to the Mohawk Valley Association of REALTORS® (MVAR) and has grown to over 400 members, primarily located in Oneida and Herkimer Counties. MVAR is a member of the New York State Association of REALTORS® (NYSAR) and the National Association of REALTORS® (NAR), and the association's mission is to provide their members with resources and education, promote professionalism and position themselves as ambassadors of the community.
With over 425 Realtor and Affiliate members, MVAR members are active in their communities in the greater Mohawk Valley. As an association, all of MVAR's events throughout the year benefit local charities & nonprofit organizations, including Valentines for Vets, a Thanksgiving Food Drive, and an annual Golf Tournament.
While MVAR's predecessor GURBR was formed in 1915 and the association celebrated its 100th Anniversary in 2015, the 25th year in a building that was designed and built for the association is a milestone in the organization's history.
MVAR welcomes the community to celebrate by joining them for the
Open House and Ribbon Cutting from 2:00pm - 4:00pm.
