Make a Difference in the Neighborhood
Pilgrim Church, at the southwest corner of West 14th and Starkweather, is reopening its neighborhood Food Pantry after a break imposed by the pandemic. The pantry reopening will follow all current CDC COVID-19 guidelines. The pantry is affiliated with the Greater Cleveland Food Bank and totally run by volunteers. In 2019, we served 215 families and 620 per month. The Pantry is open Tuesdays and Thursdays from 10:00 AM to noon. If you have been wanting to get involved in your neighborhood, this may be the opportunity you’ve been looking for. Just one morning a month would make a huge difference to your neighbors in need. If you would like know more about the Pilgrim Food Pantry volunteer opportunities, visit our website or contact Dick Berlo at (440) 237-1808 or email Dick at dber99@gmail.com.
These are the choices:
  1.  Sidewalk-level cycle-track from W. 44th to W. 20th
  2. Sidewalk-level multi-purpose trail
  3. Street-level dedicated bike lanes
  4. Combination or hybrid options
The rehabilitation project will also include pavement repair or replacement; new asphalt surface course; new walks and curb ramps to make pedestrian walkways compliant with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA); multi-modal transportation enhancements; drainage and utility replacements and improvements; new signage and pavement markings; and traffic signal upgrades.
Construction cost estimates vary depending on the type of bicycle facility. The construction schedule also varies depending on the selected bicycle facility since additional construction funding will be needed for some of the options.
