"Hi Folks, Although I'm an avid hunter, I'm pretty much of a novice at the smoking business. A few years back, I bought a Master Chef smoker from Cabela's, right at the end of the hunting season when it was on sale and reduced in price. I made the mistake of leaving it in the box since I was all done with my hunting and had put the meat away for the year. I figured I'd put it to use the following year.
Well....next year, when I was ready to use it, I took it out of the box, brand spanking new, and it didn't work...! Of course, the ninety-day warranty had looooong expired and I was stuck. They did send me a new control panel, which I thought was good business and very generous, except it didn't fix the problem. So I was out a few hundred bucks with a smoker that was brand new and didn't work. I was kicking myself for not having checked it out when I first got it...!
Next, I looked at Bradley smokers since I'd seen them advertised quite a lot. But this time I read the reader reviews and noted a serious problem that kept showing up, so I opted not to buy one. Had I done that with the Master Chef I'd have been forewarned and avoided the pitfall I entered.
I then did an internet search and came across your product. Pretty pricey, I thought, especially when compared to what I'd been looking at. But - I read the reader reviews, solid five stars, and decided I would have saved a bunch of money if I'd spent it on your product the first time around. So I bought the 1400 and have loved it ever since! I watch a number of your 'how to' videos which are outstanding and I'm getting pretty doggone good at turning out some mouth-watering meat products.
