UK-wide rail travel ticketing survey
Have your say about your ideal rail ticketing system. Rica's confidential survey aims to find out the needs of older and disabled people when travelling by train. The research findings will be used to help design flexible ticketing systems that support a wide range of travellers' needs. When you've completed the survey you'll be eligible to enter a prize draw. Get Yourself Active and Birmingham University want to know your thoughts on how information about physical activity and sport is presented to disabled people. The survey will take place in your own home, taking about 15 minutes of your time. Once you've been interviewed you'll receive a £15 Amazon voucher and be entered into a prize draw for a £100 Amazon voucher. In 2018, Choice Unlimited is returning to Leicester and Rutland - and visiting Lincolnshire for the first time. The free event aims to develop and establish a market place for disabled people, young disabled people, older people, families and carers. The Blue Badge parking scheme may be extended to include people with non-physical conditions. This proposal is part of the Government's plan to ensure that people with the greatest need have access to badges, while ensuring the scheme remains sustainable. It looks at peer support workers and their experiences, knowledge and insights into offering peer support in mental health and makes evidence-based recommendations for practice.
