Bert's Joke of the Month

A guy goes into a pet store and asks for the most unusual pet in the store. The pet store manager sells him a "talking" Centapede. The guy brings him home and starts talking to the Centapede in the box. The guy says "how would you like to go to church with me?" No answer from the Centapede. Again he says "want to go to church with me?" Still no answer from the Centapede. Being insistent he said, "you must  go to church with me and thank God for your ability to talk". Still no answer. Finally he screamed, " please answer me. " The Centapede finally answered, " I heard you the first time-- I'm putting on my shoes!!!"
