I hope you are all doing well and enjoying the cooler weather as we move into the holiday season. Construction on the Lakehouse continues to move forward, and the framing is now underway. It is great to see the first real outline of the building coming together!

I also want to share an update on the monument lighting. The new lights have been re-installed, and the manufacturer is only waiting on one final item needed to complete the repair. Once that arrives, the contractor will finish the wiring and make sure everything is operating as intended. I will continue to monitor the progress and provide an update once the work is fully complete.

We have received feedback from a few homeowners about the current time frames for installing holiday decorations. As we continue to balance community standards with the enjoyment of seasonal traditions, we understand that many residents enjoy decorating earlier in the season.

We will be reviewing the current guidelines to see if there is an opportunity to adjust the installation time frame and allow for a little more flexibility. Once we complete that review, we will share an update with the community.

Riceland Holiday Light Parade

Date: November 29, 2025

Time: 6:00 PM - 8:30 PM

Location: Parade will be at the canals and celebration will be immediately after at Sweetgum Park!

Get ready for a jolly ole time at our first Holiday Light Parade on Saturday, November 29th. Join us for a dazzling parade of lighted golf carts, bicycles, and trailers as they travel through the Riceland Canals and make their way to Sweetgum Park for a celebration. This registration is for spectators and closes Nov. 26th.

Merry & Bright Movie Night

Date: December 19, 2025

Location: Sweetgum Park

Join us for a Merry & Bright Movie Night in the park! We’ll cozy up under the stars, watch "The Polar Express" movie on the big screen, and enjoy a fun holiday craft before the show begins. Bring your blankets, chairs, and a little holiday cheer—this night is all about getting into the spirit of the season! The movie will begin at 6:30 PM. Let us know that you will be there by registering below! Registration closes Dec. 16th.
