Rich DuPont Endorsed by First Selectman Ed Mone of Thomaston in 5 th  District Congressional Race

Rich DuPont, Republican candidate for the U.S. House of Representatives in Connecticut’s 5th Congressional District today announced that his campaign has received the endorsement of First Selectman Ed Mone of Thomaston.

“Rich DuPont understands what families and businesses in the 5 th  District want and need because he’s lived and worked here all his life,”Mone said. “Rich has spent his career   helping to create jobs and achieving real workforce development results right here in the 5 th  district– and those results really matter because they have provided genuine opportunities for our residents.”

“I am honored by Ed’s endorsement and I know the best way I can serve our families and employers is to get elected, get to Washington and push for jobs and training in Congress as I have been doing for the past 30 years in the 5 th  District.”

DuPont has spent his career supporting job creation in Connecticut by helping manufacturers in a variety of capacities, most recently as Director of the Advanced Manufacturing Technology Center at Housatonic Community College.

Since 2004, Rich has also been President of Resource Development Associates, a firm that provides consulting services to manufacturing, commercial, healthcare, and municipal clients located primarily in Connecticut.
