Rich DuPont Endorsed by Watertown Town Council Chairman Tom Winn in 5 th District Congressional Race

Winn Joins List of Endorsers that includes Former U.S. Rep. Nancy Johnson and 2014 Republican 5 th  District Nominee Mark Greenberg
 

Rich DuPont, Republican candidate for the U.S. House of Representatives in Connecticut’s 5th Congressional District today announced that his campaign has received the endorsement of Watertown Town Council Chairman Tom Winn.

“I am proud to endorse Rich DuPont for Congress because I’ve seen first-hand how hard he has worked to bring jobs and workforce training to the greater Waterbury area,” Winn said. “Rich believes the path to a good job is through education and training and he has devoted his career to providing those services to individuals and businesses in the District.”

“I am honored by Tom’s endorsement and it especially gratifying because Tom and I are from the same hometown,” Dupont said. “My work in Congress will be an extension of what I’ve been doing for the last 25 years because I believe that is the best way to support training and job creation in the 5 th  District.”

DuPont has spent his career supporting job creation in Connecticut by helping manufacturers in a variety of capacities, most recently as Director of the Advanced Manufacturing Technology Center at Housatonic Community College.

Since 2004, Rich has also been President of Resource Development Associates, a firm that provides consulting services to manufacturing, commercial, healthcare, and municipal clients located primarily in Connecticut.
