Civics Learning Week, hosted by iCivic, begins March 6 with a virtual conversation with American Diplomat and author Richard Haass.


March 7, a virtual event will be held at the National Archives in Washington, D.C.


March 10, Sonia Sotomayor, Associate Justice, Supreme Court of the United States, will meet with teachers and students in a pre-recorded Q&A.


There will be a series of events for educators, students, and community members. Virtual and in-person events will be held across the nation. Organizations who have scheduled events include John F. Kennedy Presidential Library and Museum, SXSW, and James Madison Center for Civic Engagement.

Democracy Solutions Summit



Experts and leaders will discuss a range of critical issues related to fair access, fair elections, and fair representation. They will focus on viable, scalable, and transformative solutions to build a 21st century democracy.


Speakers include Kristen Clarke, U.S. Assistant Attorney General for Civil Rights at DOJ; Rebecca Chavez-Houck, former Utah legislator and Ranked Choice Voting expert; Charlotte Hill, Director of the Democracy Policy Initiative at U C Berkeley.
