This project will improve almost three miles of Richmond Highway from Jeff Todd Way to Napper Road in Fairfax County. The proposed plans will widen the road from four to six lanes, provide separate sidewalks and bike paths on both sides of the road, and reserve the median width necessary to accommodate Fairfax County's future Bus Rapid Transit plans for dedicated bus-only lanes.

You're encouraged to submit comments by Dec. 6, 2018 to the Virginia Department of Transportation Northern Virginia District, Dan Reinhard, P.E., 4975 Alliance Drive Fairfax, VA 22030, or to RichmondHighway@VDOT.virginia.govPlease reference "Oct. 29 NEPA Public Hearing and Public Information Meeting" in the subject line.
