Listen to Virginia Tech alumnus Mike Short discuss professional development topics, such as how to strategically build successful relationships and the importance of networking. Registration includes one drink ticket and appetizers. The cost is $5 per alumni or guest (early registration) and $10 at the door. The deadline for advanced registration is Monday, Nov. 18.

For 13 years, Short has operated his own business, the PRO Business Support Community. PRO teaches entrepreneurs and sales professionals how to build successful strategic partnerships to support members businesses. While members discuss challenges, opportunities, current projects, and future plans with trusted peers, connections are often made to others outside the organization who are potential clients, strategic partners, or referral sources.
PRO currently has teams across Virginia. Short recently re-entered the Richmond region after several years focused on expansion across the Commonwealth.
