Dear Valued Members and Ice Sports Family,

On March 15th I made the difficult decision to suspend activities and close our facilities for two weeks, for the safety of our customers and staff and to help prevent the spread of COVID-19.  Since then Virginia Governor Ralph Northam has issued a statewide order for the closure of all non-essential recreation businesses, including our ice rinks, to reduce the spread of the coronavirus. This new order went into effect on March 25th and will remain in place until 11:59pm on Thursday, April 23, 2020. I know this decision was not made lightly, and we all must support our community to help limit the spread of this virus.

I sincerely appreciate your continued patience, understanding and support as we navigate these unprecedented, and challenging times together. I realize this is an inconvenience and has greatly impacted our entire skating community.

If you are enrolled in a current or upcoming skating or hockey program, please look for direct communication from your program director with updates and specifics.

SkateNation Plus and Richmond Ice Zone have provided family fun, sports and recreation to our local community for over 20 years, and we will continue to do so.

We will monitor the situation and recommendations and will communicate any updates via our email lists, website and social media pages.  I look forward to seeing everyone back on the ice as soon as possible!
Wishing you and your family good health and safety,

Brad Robinson
